The Start
It all started as Bellcrest Cleaning. A cleaning company I started with a "friend" of mine back in December of 2019. There is no real rhyme or reason as to why I started this business. It was an idea, and I just ran with it. It wasn't super busy, I still had other work I was doing, but I knew it could be bigger and better. Without any real systems in place, I was just learning about cleaning. I cleaned by myself 90% of the time and taught myself everything about cleaning houses. Well at least that's what I thought.
The Addition of Jamie Castaldo
Step 1 to building a better company
Since the original cleaning company partner wanted nothing to do with it, I decided to start under a new name, Turnover Cleaning Pros. And that's when I randomly met Jamie Castaldo. What started as a conversation about crypto currency turned into an awesome business partner and co-owner of Turnover Cleaning Pros. Like minded and hardworking is what makes us mesh well. Without Jamie we woudn't be where we are today.

She allowed me to focus on other important areas of the business, example, customer service, the website, and most importantly putting a system in place.

The biggest take away I want you to take from this section, is that you need to surround yourself with people who care and will go the extra mile to grow and become the best version of themselves, and that's what Jamie finally brought to my table.
The Internet is Amazing
Step 2 to building a better company
After finalizing our licensing and insurance, it was all about getting our name out there. The best place for us to do that (for cheap) was, of course, the internet. We created a website, added our business listing to every site on the internet, focused on SEO and allowed people to find us anywhere in NJ. We also went ahead and started some social media accounts (Facebook and TikTok). THAT'S IT! By the second week of launch we already had a full schedule on our plate which ended up extending through today.
Actually Learning About Cleaning
Step 3 to building a better company
As time went on, we started to master the art of cleaning a home from top to bottom. Jamie was a huge help to this aspect of the business. We started purchasing the right tools, the right chemicals and cleaning products. But what we really started to learn about what pricing and exactly what the customers wanted. Our prices may not be the cheapest, but we're also a 5 star cleaning company for a reason.

I would have to say that this is probably the most important part of the business. Understanding how long a job is really going to take and how much we feel we're worth doing such job.
Putting a System in Place
Step 4 to building a better company
The last major step we needed for the business was to organize our cleaners, jobs, clients, and invoicing. We needed an overhaul of our operations. I did a lot of research and tested multiple products to handle the day to day operations and landed on Jobber.

This system literally took everything and put it in one place. From booking to paying, it pretty much handles everything we need. It helped us create a system for new customers. It helped with getting invoices paid faster and easier. Jobber has allowed us to be on the same page, every minute of the day. Another huge reason we've been able to grow so quickly.
